The abstract submission period has closed.

We extend our gratitude to everyone who submitted abstracts for consideration.

We invite the submission of abstracts for contributed talks and poster presentations at this year's conference. Abstracts should clearly outline the objectives, methods, results, and significance of the work. Submissions are welcome from all areas relevant to the symposium theme, and we particularly encourage contributions that present new research findings, innovative methodologies, or interdisciplinary approaches.

  • If you have already submitted an abstract for a contributed talk / poster, but would later like to be considered for a specific mini symposium, get in touch at palms2026@nus.edu.sg
  • Each speaker will only be allowed one presentation (regular contributed talk, talk in a mini-symposia, poster presentation) except under special circumstances (e.g., substituting for a main speaker due to unforeseen circumstances, keynote speaker).
  • If you have been invited to contribute to, or would like to propose your abstract be included in, a particular mini-symposium, please indicate below

Proposals will be assessed using the following criteria: including scientific merit and/or broader impact / novelty, and relevance to symposium themes.

The outcome of submissions will be provided in mid April 2026. Requests for expedited abstract reviews may be considered if requests are reasonable (e.g., application of external travel funds that may require proof of abstract acceptance) and are made far in advance (at least one month notice). Please get in touch via palms2026@nus.edu.sg if you need help.

To improve conference flow and planning, the Scientific Committee may contact you if we feel your talk would be better placed within a particular mini-symposium.

Once notified of acceptance, we ask that you register for the conference promptly. If you are unable to attend the conference or have to withdraw your participation due to unforeseen circumstances, please notify the Organising Committee at palms2026@nus.edu.sg. If you able to find a co-author to give a talk in your stead, please let us know as well.
