The workshop submission period has closed.
We extend our gratitude to everyone who submitted workshops for consideration.
Do you have a great idea for a workshop or courses? We can accommodate such activities during the conference, including on pre- and post-conference days. Please refer to the Programme for proposed slots in the schedule.
All course / workshop proposals for PALMS 2026 must be submitted exclusively through our online submission system before February 14th, 2026:
Proposals will be assessed using the following criteria: including scientific merit and/or broader impact / novelty, and relevance to symposium themes.
The outcome of submissions will be provided in mid April 2026. Requests for expedited workshop reviews may be considered if requests are reasonable (e.g., application of external travel funds that may require proof of workshop acceptance) and are made far in advance (at least one month notice). Please get in touch via palms2026@nus.edu.sg if you need help.
To improve conference flow and planning, the Scientific Committee may contact you if we feel your talk would be better placed within a particular mini-symposium.
The outcome of submissions will be provided before March 14th, 2026. Once a course /workshop is accepted, a sign-up sheet for all conference participants will be provided.
As a relatively small and community-driven conference, PALMS 2026 will not provide special financial assistance, stipends or free registration to course and workshop organisers.
Workshop and course organisers are responsible for the session’s content, materials, and structure. To avoid disruptions to scheduling, please submit a course or workshop proposal only if you are certain to attend the meeting and are willing to fulfil your responsibility as an organizer. Organisers should consider having co-organisers that are able to take over under unavoidable circumstances where an organiser is unable to attend.
